I am happiest when I help others discover and grow their skills and love of music. I was educated in the world-renowned Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow in the 80’s, where I graduated with a masters in chamber music performance, orchestral solo performance as well as pedagogy (teaching) of the violin. I went on to hold several teaching posts alongside my performance career, and also performed on an overseas solo tour in Asia. My family life has taken me around the world, and I have also had the pleasure of teaching and performing in the UK, the Middle East, and the USA. These days I am based in Guilford, Surrey. Since 2020 I have been teaching online and have found this (I must say surprisingly) effective and enjoyable.
